FAQ’s

Have a question? Here are the answers I get asked the most.

Will the colors match what I see on my screen?

I calibrate every print using professional-grade color management, so what you see is about as close as physically possible. That said, your screen is backlit — it shines light directly at you — while canvas reflects the light in the room around it, so you may notice very slight differences in brightness. Every print is optimized to look its best in person, not just on a screen.

What kind of canvas will I receive?

Every print is gallery-wrapped — the image is stretched around a solid wooden frame, so it’s ready to hang straight out of the box with no framing or matting needed. Hanging hardware comes included with each piece, so all you need is a hook and a wall.

How do I choose the right size for my space?

A good rule of thumb: measure the wall where the piece will hang, and aim for the artwork to fill roughly 60–75% of that width if it’s the focal point. Above a couch or bed, a common guide is about two-thirds the width of the furniture below it. If you’re stuck between two sizes, sizing up usually reads better on a wall than sizing down.

How long will it take to get my art?

Each canvas is custom-printed just for you, so please allow 2–5 business days for production. Once it ships, delivery typically takes 5–8 business days within the USA, or 4–11 business days to Canada. You’ll get a tracking number the moment it leaves the lab, so you can follow it the whole way home.

Do you ship outside the US and Canada?

Right now, I only ship within the US and Canada. If that changes down the road, I’ll update this page — in the meantime, feel free to reach out through the contact page with any questions.

Can I cancel my order?

To keep shipping times fast, orders are sent to the print lab almost immediately. If you need to cancel, contact me within 2 hours of placing your order — once printing has started, I’m no longer able to cancel it.

My canvas arrived damaged — what do I do?

The packaging is built to withstand rough handling, but accidents do happen. If your canvas arrives damaged, email me through the contact page within 48 hours of delivery. I’ll ask you for a couple of photos — the damage itself and the packaging it arrived in — and then arrange a replacement for you at no cost. Here is the fine print.

What is your return policy?

Because every canvas is custom-printed to order — a specific photograph, in the size you chose — I’m not able to accept returns for buyer’s remorse or if a piece doesn’t quite fit the space you had in mind. That said, if there’s ever a manufacturing defect or shipping damage, I’ll make it right immediately with a replacement. Here is the fine print.

How do I care for my canvas print?

Canvas prints are pretty low-maintenance, but a few habits will keep the colors looking their best for years. Every piece is printed using a fade-resistant process, so you’re already starting from a strong foundation. From there, dust it occasionally with a soft, dry cloth, and skip glass cleaners or anything with moisture. Keep it out of direct sunlight where you can, and avoid hanging it somewhere humid, like a bathroom. Beyond that, canvas is a durable medium built to last.
